Brits Don’t Want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Visit Again
British Royal family news reveals according to Lady Colin, that the British people don’t want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to come to the Platinum Jubilee and would boo the controversial couple if they showed up.
The Sussex couple has neither confirmed nor denied speculations about attending the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, but according to Harry, he’s planning on ways to make it happen.
Royal Author Says Prince Harry and Meghan Would Be “Booed” If They Joined the Royal Family at the Balcony
Following Harry and Meghan’s visit to the Queen, rumors began swirling that Her Majesty extended an invitation to the pair to appear with the rest of the Royal Family on the balcony for Trooping of Color.
“That would be one of the few pieces of evidence of realism that they have shown in the recent past,” Lady Colin Campbell told Dan Wootton of how the people would react to Harry and Meghan’s presence. “I think there is a very good chance that they will be booed, and I also think that this is not going to only be a family affair, this is actually a state occasion.
“And let’s remember we are not celebrating grannie’s 96th birthday at the Jubilee, we are celebrating the Queen’s accession to the throne so it is not a family matter it is really, in fact, a state occasion.”
The royal author then went on to say that she is doubtful about Harry and Meghan’s motives if they do decide to attend the Jubilee.
“And I have concerns about Harry and Meghan attending, not only because of the reception they’ll get, not only because they manage to suck all oxygen out of a room and turn it into the Harry and Meghan dog and bone show.
“Also because the fact of the matter is, the British public don’t want them. I have received tens of thousands of communications from the public saying they don’t want on the balcony.
“They resent the fact that Harry and Meghan abused them, the British people by lying and saying the British people were racist and that they didn’t welcome her.”
Meghan Markle’s Father Thomas Markle Talks Attending the Platinum Jubilee and Meeting Royals
Lady Colin Campbell’s insight into Meghan and Harry’s probable reception at the Jubilee is coming on the heels of Meghan’s father sharing that he will be coming to London to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee
“I’m getting the feeling that if they know I’m coming, they won’t be coming,” Thomas Markle told Dan Wootton on Monday.
“But if they do come, I’d love to reach out and speak with them and try to figure out what went wrong and how we can repair it.”
He added: “I don’t see that happening, but I’d certainly like to try.”
