Expert Says Prince William May Not Be Interested In Bring Prince Harry Back Into The Fold
Royal family news and updates tease Prince William may not be “that interested” in having Prince Harry back to royal life. At least, this is what a royal expert believes after seeing the siblings together in public after the death of the late monarch on September 8.
The expert also added that it would take an “awful lot” between the brothers before they can “get things back to where they were.”
Does Prince William Have A Grudge Against Prince Harry?
Royal expert Christopher Andersen said that King Charles III will benefit from having Prince Harry “back into the fold,” something which Prince William isn’t keen about.
“I’m not so sure William is that interested. I think he’s got much more of a grudge against Harry at this time,” he explained.
“And again, it’s just going to get worse, I think, as time goes on, so we’ll see how they handle it,” he added.
Will Prince William Extend Another Olive Branch?
Prince William reportedly extended an olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when he invited them to join them when they went out to meet the public as they all mourn the passing of the late monarch.
Andersen explained that everything that the royals are doing right now is being dissected, which means more pressure on their end. Prince William and Prince Harry have attended multiple events following Queen Elizabeth’s death but Andersen believes that it’ll take more than that to dissolve the tension between the siblings. The public will just have to wait and see if Prince William is willing to extend another olive branch to his brother.
Andersen also noted that Prince William made the invite to pay their respects to their grandmother whom they deeply admired. As for Harry and Meghan, he believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still uneasy as observed in Meghan’s latest interview.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s “half in, half out” Status
Kristen Meinzer, co-host of The Royal Report podcast, thinks that Prince Harry and Meghan have a “half in, half out” status. She hopes the king would bring them both back while still allowing them to earn their own salaries outside their royal duties.
Meanwhile, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle sat next to each other at the committal ceremony for the late monarch, which took place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Monday.
