2022 is Queen Elizabeth’s year, whether you agree to it or not. The Monarch will be celebrating a historic 70 years on the throne with big parties that is sure to leave a splash that will last for many years to come.

What’s Planned for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant
The Platinum Jubilee Pageant is set to have four distinct celebratory parts, all set to take place on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
The Pageant, which is one of the major events taking place on the Jubilee weekend, will begin at Buckingham Palace and spread to the surrounding streets.
The 3 km route will mirror the one taken by the Queen at her coronation in 1953.
Many British national treasures will be involved such as Ed Sheeran, Sir Cliff Richard, Gary Lineker, Dame Shirley Bassey, Bill Bailey and Gok Wan.
The pageant is split into four parts: For Queen and Country, The Time of Our Lives, Let’s Celebrate, and Happy and Glorious, all organised by pageant master, Adrian Evans LVO. Each part will tell a unique story about the Queen’s 70-year reign.
The first act will be a military parade consisting of 1,750 military personnel, which will be a mix of U.K. armed forces and others from all over the Commonwealth.
The second, The Time of Our Lives, will be a larger-than-life production about popular culture in Britain from the 1950s to the modern times. This stage will see 150 national treasures take part to highlight and celebrate their influence in shaping British culture since the Queen’s coronation.
Let’s Celebrate consists of dozens of street performances, taking concepts from Carnival, May Day, Mela, Fiesta and Mardi Gras to make one large creative party. This act will feature performers from across the U.K., who have crafted unique art pieces for the pageant.
The final act will involve the participation of attendees, inspiring an immersive experience in people. Happy and Glorious will take place around the Queen Victoria memorial outside Buckingham Palace and the crowd will sing the national anthem.
Ways to Enter the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant

It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve got planned, you can enter to take part in the pageant to help bring to life historic movements and subcultures from the U.K. in the past 70 years.
You can check out the casting website, which also has a list of specific groups, including jivers, mods, new romantics, cybergoth and boy blue collaboration plus many more. High quality replica clothing items that accurately represent the moving fashions of Britain are also being encouraged.
Street performers who can pull off the attire and look of famous faces are also welcome to apply.
