We also wanted to recognize those whose struggles perhaps have been less visible too,” tweeted Kate. And she invited everyone to see the holiday special that will air on Christmas Eve. “Tune in to @ITV at 7:30pm on Christmas Eve to see this special event,” added the Duchess of Cambridge, adding a sneak peek in a video clip.
We’ve been through such a bleak time. We’ve seen so many challenges. We’ve lost our loved ones. We’ve seen our frontline workers under immense pressure. And also we’ve been more emotionally and socially distanced and isolated from each other. (1/3) pic.twitter.com/sQOsY2OVV6

“We’ve been through such a bleak time,” noted Kate. But the Duchess of Cambridge also pointed out that inspiration exists despite the challenges. “We’ve been more emotionally and socially distanced and isolated from each other. But I suppose through that separation, we’ve also realized how much we need each other and how acts of kindness and love can really bring us comfort and relief in times of distress,” tweeted Kate.
As a result, the Duchess of Cambridge shared her appreciation for all the kindness. “We’ve got many inspirational individuals. We owe them a huge debt of gratitude for all they’ve done in bringing people together & supporting their communities,” shared Middleton.
