Kate Middleton gives an inspirational little girl with severe epilepsy some royal support in her new royal health campaign video. The Duchess of Cambridge recorded a personal video message to celebrate the beginning of Children’s Hospice Week in the UK. The campaign is organized by the UK children’s palliative care charity, Together for Short Lives.

In the clip, the Duchess can be seen spending some quality time with 6-year-old Isabella Benton, who often suffers from seizures that affect her brain. Because of her condition, she often suffers from psychological and behavioral issues, which has led her mother Michala to get help for her depression.

Kate says in the two-minute clip, “For any parent, being told that your child may have a life-limiting condition, or may die young, will be one of the most difficult and isolating experiences you can face. Having someone to help you come to terms with this news, and the professional support and care that comes with this, can make an enormous difference. It can help families make the most of every precious moment they have together.”

Many royal fans are praising Kate Middleton for giving Isabella and her family a much-needed boost with her personal support. Michala says that they rely on their children’s hospice center to help Isabella learn and develop social skills.

Kate has made it no secret that she loves children. After all, she’s also a dedicated mother to her own two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Reports have indicated that she even wants to clear her schedule to make sure that she will be able to drop off her children and pick them up everyday from school. And working closely with the East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH), has proven just how passionate Kate is to give children the everyday quality care they both need and deserve. Michala even says that thanks to EACH, she was able to relax on an overseas family holiday with her daughters knowing that Isabella was well taken care of by the staff at her hospice center.

Of course, we’ll be hearing more from Kate Middleton with more campaign videos like this in the future. In the meantime, don’t forget to check back with Our Teen Trends for all the latest and greatest on Kate Middleton and the rest of the royal family right here!
