Kate Middleton Stuns in Chic Blazer for a Cambridge Family Showdown
The Duchess of Cambridge does not disappoint her fans when it comes to dressing up. To watch the match at Twickenham stadium, alongside her husband and eldest child, she spotted a black and white checked blazer that’s got people’s eyes popping. Get me one please.
Duchess of Cambridge Supports England Rugby Team in a Blazer
If you don’t already know that the Duchess adores checked clothes, then you probably need to go back to the very beginning. Mixing her love for checks and blazers, the Duchess spotted a look that’s both chic and business-like.
Earlier this week when she started her solo tour of Denmark, she literally stepped out wearing the country’s flag colors in a red tweed from Zara. She was praised for the combo that included black trousers and heels, and for shooting down a slide in the aforementioned heels. Now that the weather is beginning to warm up again, the Duchess is bringing back her blazer days.
For the weekend outing with her husband Prince William and son Prince George, she stepped out in the office-worthy attire to watch a game of rugby.
The outing was especially special as both of the Cambridges are patrons to the opposing teams that played that day. Needless to say, the Duchess won the first round. Oh sorry, I meant in her wardrobe, but her team also won the match.
Kate was clad in a classic black and white houndstooth blazer paired with an equally polished turtleneck and black cropped trousers. She rounded out the look with matching suede pumps. The double-breasted jacket featured gold buttons down the front and on the cuffs. To fit in with the look of the arena, she accessorized with a red and blue England Rugby scarf.
Kate, who recently took over from Harry as the patron of the Rugby Football League and the Rugby Football Union, rooted for the English team. William, on the other hand, supported the Welsh team, who he’s been a patron of since 2016. George was happy whichever way the game goes, but if you ask me, he looks secretly happy to see mom’s team winning.
Earlier this month, Kate made headlines when she made her debut as the brand new patron of England Rugby. She also joined the sportsmen in training for the sport and had some fitful giggles in between.
She stepped into the training field wearing a black tracksuit that was made up of a quarter-zip pullover and sweatpants, both embroidered with a red rose — the union’s logo.
