Meghan and Prince Harry miss Charity Event They Started with Kate and Prince William
On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge visited Shout and highlighted the incredible work done by the charity, which was originally started by her, Prince William, Harry and Meghan.
The mental health service provides a free and safe space for people in need of help, who are looking forward to sharing their problems with a professional and receiving topnotch support.

Harry and Meghan Markle may be missing in action, but Prince William and Kate Middleton are continuing the good work to support the mental health service they set up with £3 million from their then-joint foundation.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who stepped out in a black long-sleeved lace dress, paired with killer heels, perfectly handled the appointment on her own.
Shout 85258 is a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support system for anyone struggling to cope. During the visit, the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, met and thanked clinical supervisors, volunteers, and fundraisers for their essential work to provide mental support to anyone who needs it.
So far, the charity organization has been able to answer over a million calls from those who need help.
Harry and Meghan’s zero contribution and absence was remarked on by Royal author Robert Jobson, who told The Mirror: “When Kate turned up at Shout’s Notting Hill office on Wednesday to mark their millionth text, she was relaxed and very well informed.
She put everyone she met at ease, asked all the right questions, talked about difficult issues such as people struggling with family relationships, and depression and suicide, without turning the entire visit gloomy.”
Jobson noted that the lack of support from Harry and Meghan for the event means that there hasn’t been any progress in healing the rift between the Cambridges and the Sussexes.
“When she met volunteers, the duchess was warm and encouraging. She has an easy, natural style, but was clearly well-read and well-briefed too on the success of the initiative, now supported by William and Kate’s foundation, not by the Californian-based “H” and Duchess Meg.
“I’ll have to become a volunteer’, she joked, knowing that her hard work and influence and money had made it possible for this essential free service to continue. It could have been a ‘Fab Four’ day out if things had been different – but that ship has long sailed.”
