Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Happily “Moving On” From Bullying Probe
Meghan and Harry married in 2018 and stepped down from their royal duties in early 2020, but not before leaving behind a trail of ex-employees who accused the Duchess of bullying.
Since then, the bullying accusations have plagued the Duchess, even after her former costars said that they never associated her with the behavior she was accused of exhibiting.
At the time, a bullying investigation was launched by the Palace to get to the root of the matter. The Royal Family also adjusted the way members of their staff leaked information to the press and press relations have so far been made more secure. But one question is still unanswered, did Meghan Markle really bully those staffs or were they just unsubstantiated rumors? Even though the Palace has confirmed that they would not be making the report public, Meghan Markle is reportedly pleased with the findings.
Meghan Markle is Happy with the Result of the Palace Investigations into Rumors of Bullying
Buckingham Palace will not be releasing the bullying investigation report, but it didn’t stop Meghan from being happy with the findings. She and her husband are now looking forward to moving on.
“Meghan is a fair boss and never bullied anyone who worked for her at the Palace in the first place. She’s happy that her name has been cleared from the defamatory claims,” a source close to the couple exclusively told Us Weekly about the 40-year-old’s reaction to her apparent win. “She and Harry are looking forward to putting the incident behind them and are happily moving on with their lives in Montecito.”
Harry and Meghan are reportedly not in support of withholding the report from the public.
“The couple is disappointed that the results of the review of the investigation will not be shared,” a second insider told Us.
On Wednesday, June 29, Buckingham Palace announced that the investigations have concluded even though the findings would not be made public.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl said that the Queen chose not to disclose the findings in order to avoid public drama from plaguing her last remaining years on the throne.
“She just doesn’t want any more dirty linens aired in public,” Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight on June 20.
