Meghan Markle’s outfit at the unofficial United Nations gathering on Monday was worth almost £4000.
The 40-year-old wore a black Givenchy pencil skirt reportedly worth £1,255, which she paired with a £545 Manolo Blahnik heels. She was also pictured carrying a matching Mulberry handbag worth £1,195.
The pair were seen smiling when they arrived for the event, where Harry made a politically charged speech.
During his speech, Harry said: “How many of us feel battered, helpless in the face of the seemingly endless stream of disasters and devastation, I understand.
“This has been a painful year in a painful decade. We’re living through a pandemic that continues to ravage communities in every corner of the globe.
“Climate change wreaking havoc on our planet, with the most vulnerable suffering most of all. The few weaponising lies and disinformation at the expense of the many.”
Prince Harry Interfered Again In US politics
The Duke, 37, also touched on the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe vs Wade, thereby allowing states to individually pass laws on abortion rights.
He added: “And from the horrific war in Ukraine to the rolling back of constitutional rights here in the US, we are witnessing a global assault on democracy and freedom.”
Following the speech, as he faced global criticism for turning a speech that was supposed to honor Mendela into a political one, he and Meghan dined with friends at well-known chef Andrew Carmellini’s Tribeca hotspot, Locanda Verde.
