“Hypocrite” Meghan Markle Markets Her Duchess Title for Personal Gain
Last week, two U.S. senators came forward about getting a “surprise call” from a blocked number, with the caller representing herself as “Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.”
It turned out it was Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D.N.Y, who gave the “Suits” alum the private numbers of the senators so that she can lobby them to vote to include paid leave in her party’s social spending bill.
Writer Daniela Elsa addressed the issue in her column on News.com.au. She called it hypocritical for Meghan to dearly cling to her title despite having stepped down as a working royal.
She said: “What is a real head scratcher here is why Meghan continues to wheel out her title in such instances as these calls to Senator when she must know it’s like holding a red rag to a bull?
“Why endanger the most marketable thing going for the couple?
“For one thing, it makes her look like a hypocrite. She and Harry didn’t want to remain a part of the royal stable but are happy to keep using the trappings that came with said job when it suits her purposes? Riiiight.”
She added that Meghan’s obsession with using her Duchess title in her political and non-political interests means that she’s “pushing the Queen into even more of a corner”.

HM can *not* take their titles away from them, that must come from Parliament only. And there must be a valid reason like treason to do so. This……..*.Parliament are the ones who remove titles and it comes under the Titles Deprivation Act of 1917*. I looked it up just to be sure of myself and thought I should copy it to you. I think the BRF really dogged a bullet then Harry and Meghan left the royal family and the Firm….they are totally unsuited to serve and help the country and the people. And in the US, they are becoming the laughing stock of the media now.
