Queen Elizabeth Wants an Artist to Redecorate Her London Home
For this job, you will have to be available 40 hours/week. The pay is listed as £28,000-£30,000 a year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be involved in inspecting the lavish rooms and deciding the ones that need to be worked on.
The required skills include having an eye for detail and a passion for historic buildings. This means that you’ll have to be able to improve the abode, while preserving its ancient feel. Other needed skills are good communication and leadership skills, and the ability to deliver under pressure and within a tight deadline.
This is coming after it was publicly announced that Buckingham Palace will be undergoing a 10-year renovation project, which will reportedly be completed by 2027. This will cost taxpayers £369 million.

The job description requires the successful candidate to cover a number of buildings across London’s posh Estates, along with carrying out “inspections and identifying rooms that need your attention, before making sure they are expertly renewed and fit for purpose. Working in such uniquely historic environments means you’ll have the opportunity to expand your existing skills.”
