Palace Urged to Work Fast to Cut Off Prince Harry and Meghan’s Exploitation Schemes
Tom Bower, the author behind the popular book “Nazi Gold”, is urging the Palace to take fast action against the Sussexes, who strive to use their titles for their own personal profit.
The pair were recently accused of abusing the Queen’s well-meaning advances in order to create a “dramatic” scenario for their Netflix documentary.
He also accused Meghan, who is estranged from her father, of being “happy” that Harry and his father Prince Charles don’t get along well.
Royal Commentator Says Prince William’s Absence at the Sussexes’ “Clear the Air” Meeting with the Queen Signifies They Don’t Want to Talk Peace
the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met Prince Charles together for the first time
On Thursday, 10 a.m., the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met Prince Charles together for the first time since they stepped down from their royal duties in 2020. According to an insider, Camilla joined the meeting halfway in. The meeting was brief, reportedly lasting for only 15 minutes.
Tom Bower wrote: “They reportedly met Charles at Windsor before meeting the Queen — and undoubtedly their encounter was civilised. Yet it is hard to believe the Sussexes apologised for all the hurtful untrue allegations. They see no reason to retract anything.
“If the Sussexes had wanted to forge a genuine rapprochement, they would have introduced their children to their grandfather. And, more importantly, for the first and as heartbreaking as it is to say, possibly the last time, to their great-grandmother. But their children were in California.
The elephant in the room is what Harry intends to say
“The elephant in the room is what Harry intends to say in his memoir about William and Kate. Despite the ugly allegations made to Oprah, the Cambridges appeared friendly to Harry at Prince Philip’s funeral.”
He went on to point out how the brothers put all show and pretense aside when they met the next time for their late mother’s statue unveiling on what could have been her 60th birthday, last July. “It seemed as if both brothers were impatient to get the ceremony finished.”
Mr. Bower, who is known for his several unauthorized biographies, added: “Pertinently, neither William nor Kate were at Windsor last week. If the Sussexes had genuinely wanted to end the feud, Harry would have surely urged the Cambridges to be there.
“How else, it can be asked, could the Sussexes be welcomed at the Platinum celebrations in June if the family dispute remains unresolved?”
Royal Expert Says Harry and Meghan Have Chosen Money Over Family
Mr. Bower, in writing about why the Sussexes visited the Queen, added: “The answer surely is that the Sussexes have no intention of mending their relationships with the Cambridges. And as they basked in the spotlight yesterday at the Invictus games in Holland, the Queen and Charles may have rued the folly of becoming props to the Sussexes’ apparent PR exercise.
“Their focus is undoubtedly Netflix — the corporation whose series, The Crown, has grossly distorted their family’s lives to earn gargantuan profits.”
Tom Bower also noted how Harry and Meghan’s “hugely expensive lifestyle” is making them step on the toes of people for their own financial gain.
“Once they return to their £12million home in Montecito, they can count another victory. As can their Hollywood advisers. Together, they have humiliated the Windsors. Again. The tragedy will be compounded if the Queen’s advisers fail to cut off the Sussexes from further exploitation of their titles.”
He then warned Royal Advisers that they need to move quickly “to restore the Monarchy and the Commonwealth”, by cutting off the people who seek only to fill their pockets.
