Prince Albert Brings Twins On Visit To Ireland

The Royals spoilers and updates tease that Prince Albert of Monaco brought his darling children on their last summer trip before they return to school on Monday.

The 6-year-old Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella visited Dublin, Ireland together with their father. A photo of Prince Albert and his twins was posted on the Prince’s Palace of Monaco’s page where they can be seen wearing matching face masks, featuring a shamrock, to honor their host country.

Prince Albert first visited Ireland 50 years ago together with his parents Prince Rainier and Princess Grace. He got the chance to see photos of him visiting the country back when he was a child. A picture of him was also taken as he held the picture frame featuring his last visit with his parents, and he was accompanied by Ireland’s President, Michael Higgins, and First Lady, Sabrina Mary Higgins.

The Twin’s First Visit To A Foreign Country

This trip was also special for the royal siblings, who were seen holding hands on the picture. It marked their first official visit to a foreign country. Before they visited Ireland, the trio traveled to South Africa, first. For those who didn’t know, it is where Prince Albert’s wife, Princess Charlene is currently staying after she underwent surgery.

Parenting is a Team Effort, Prince Albert Says

In an interview with PEOPLE, Prince Albert is looking forward to his wife returning home. He said that Princess Charlene is “part of his life, part of our lives, part of life in Monaco.” He also shared that he found parenting difficult without his wife. He’s eager to see his wife come back home and help him raise their kids, among other things. He said parenting is a team effort and it’s difficult if one member isn’t around.

“They’re already starting to beat me on an iPad, so I have to be careful,” he joked.

Prince Albert previously said that Princess Charlene is ready to come home but when that would be will depend on the advice of her doctors. If all things go well, she may be able to travel this month.
