Prince Andrew Named in Money Laundering ScandalIt hasn’t been two months since the Prince Andrew settled his accuser Virginia Giuffre out of court and, already, he’s become embroiled in another scandal. No one knows yet the part he played for the receipt of £750,000, which he later paid back, but 77-year-old Turkish millionaire Nebahat Isbilen said the prince was one way or another involved in scamming her out of her fortune, alongside businessman Selman Turk.

Buckingham Palace Says Mysterious £750,000 Transfer to Andrew Was For His Daughter’s Wedding

The 62-year-old Prince is currently involved in a money laundering scandal. According to reports, Buckingham Palace tried to explain the mysterious money paid to the Duke as a gift for his daughter Princess Beatrice’s wedding.

However, an “astonishing” phone call obtained by Daily Mail involving Andrew’s private secretary at the time further deepens the mystery surrounding the money.

Andrew’s ex Sarah Ferguson and his daughter Princess Eugenie have also been named in the High Court case as having received large sums of money as well.

The case further involves an alleged scammer who set up a scheme described in legal documents as “apparent money laundering”.

The Mail recently revealed that Turkish millionaire Nebahat Isbilen claims that she had been duped out of her money by businessman Selman Turk. She is currently suing him for over £40 million she says is missing.

She’s also alleging that around £1.1 million of her money ended up with Andrew. It’s been confirmed that he repaid £750,000, but he is yet to reasonably explain why he received that sum into his account at royal bank Coutts in November 2019 in the first place.

Mrs. Isbilen explained that she was tricked into paying the sum to Andrew, after she was falsely made to believe that the Prince had helped her obtain a passport by Mr. Turk.

It’s also been revealed that the Duke’s former secretary Amanda Thirsk was the one to give the wedding explanation for the payment. This raised eyebrows as Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a small private ceremony in Windsor in July 2020.

Prince Andrew also made waves when he ignored the Queen’s order to style himself as “HRH” in a since-deleted post recounting his role in the Falklands War. Enraged royal fans are also calling for the shamed royal to disappear completely from the public eye.
