Royal Family news reveals that, according to Sky News, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are likely to face boos if they were to show up at the monarch’s coronation. Daily Mirror Royal Editor Russell Myers says there will likely be “some boos in the streets” but adds that he’s sure that wouldn’t “keep them away.”

The Duke and Duchess have taken fire as of late, after leveling a series of allegations at specific members of the royal family. As for whether the pair will visit the UK in May, a report from Express UK indicates it’s not likely.

As for whether he and his wife would show up at the coronation Prince Harry told ITV’s Tom Bradby there’s “a lot that can happen between now and then,” before adding a six-word ultimatum to the Royal Family, saying, “the ball is in their court.”

The Independent wrote that despite the likelihood that the Sussexes will be invited to the coronation, senior royals believe that the pair will “find a reason not to go.” The outlet reports that the duke and duchess are to be offered the opportunity to attend, though it’s already understood that they’ve been omitted from any formal role during the event which is scheduled for May 6 at Westminster Abbey.

Piers Morgan Notes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Were Booed Last time

Express UK separately reported that Piers Morgan has said that he doesn’t think the prodigal royals should attend the coronation. And, in a discussion on his talk TV show, he sat down with Sharon Osbourne – a regular guest on the show, to discuss the impact that Harry’s recent undertakings and how they could impact a Sussex visit to the UK.

While addressing the subject Osbourne said, “You know what, honestly, if he comes to this country in the next few months, I think he will be booed, I honestly do.” And Morgan noted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “were booed the last time” when they attended the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June of 2022.

Sharon agreed that the couple was booed “a little bit.” Notably, Piers Morgan has not shied from castigating the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since they decided to step down as working royals.
