And with her recent health scare, that prediction seemed even more likely to become true. But now new reports claim that the Duchess of Sussex and Duke of Sussex have refused the Queen’s holiday invitation!

Queen Elizabeth Invites Meghan And Harry To Christmas
For some, an invitation from Queen Elizabeth feels more like a summons than a request. But Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly didn’t agree with that philosophy. As a result, the Duchess of Sussex and Duke of Sussex allegedly promptly refused to make the trip from their California home to the Queen’s U.K. palace.
From the perspective of the Queen, this upcoming Christmas will feel challenging. After all, this holiday celebration will mark the very first time that Queen Elizabeth will celebrate without her beloved husband Prince Philip, who died in April 2021. And the loss of her husband, combined with health scares, seemed like it might cause Prince Harry at least to decide to comfort his grandmother on Christmas.
But a report from Yahoo claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “not coming to the U.K. for Christmas with the Queen.” That report contradicts previous speculation that the Duke of Sussex, 37 and Duchess of Sussex, 40, would take their son Archie, 2, and daughter Lilibet, 5-months-old, to visit the Queen. Her Royal Majesty reportedly has already sent her invitation to the couple.
Why Won’t Prince Harry And Meghan Visit Queen For Christmas?
Insiders claim that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t RSVP for one key reason. The Duchess of Sussex and Duke of Sussex fear getting attacked by a media backlash if they head to the U.K.
“I think everyone understands there will be a frenzy when they both come back to the UK, but they need to rip the [Band-Aid] off and get on with it,” claimed one impatient royal family insider. However, Meghan and Harry have avoided spending Christmas with any royal family members since 2018.
In the past, their reasons have varied. For instance, in 2019, Meghan and Harry decided to stay with their son Archie in Canada for Christmas. And in 2020, the Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Sussex could not visit the royal family due to the pandemic lock-down. The COVID-10 travel restrictions required them to remain in California rather than visit the United Kingdom.

I feel sorry for the Queen first Christmas without her husband! At the age of 93 no telling how many Christmas she has left. You would think that her grandson Harry would put her first at this time in her life.
It’s his lose and if something does happen to the Queen his grandmother he will pay his whole life! Remember you can’t go backwards once you do something that will hurt her. When she’s no longer near it’s to LATE!
