Though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hoped to mend fences at the Queen’s Jubilee, they reportedly ran into a brick wall with much of the Royal Family. Now, they could be “totally cut off,” if they leak anything about what went down at the four-day event.
According to Marie Claire, even though their reception, upon returning to the UK as a family for the first time since they stepped down from public life in 2020, wasn’t exactly a heartfelt reunion, the fact that they were even invited represents an “olive branch” for the Sussexes. According to Royal expert, Duncan Larcombe, senior royals will be waiting with bated breath to see if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will use the Jubilee visit for content purposes. They’ve been given an “olive branch” and now everyone wants to see how they will handle it.
Larcombe told this week’s Closer that the Sussex’s test really begins now. He said that returning to the UK for the Jubilee “really cemented” them as Royals again and that “is great for their brand” adding that Spotify, Penguin, and Netflix will be wanting some of it.

Ultimately, the test will be whether they can keep their mouths shut about private events that occurred, and words that were exchanged, during their trip to the UK. And the result of that test will decide whether the Sussexes are invited to other official Royal Family events in the future.
Larcombe said that everything now hinges on their behavior moving forward, calling it a “last chance saloon” for the duke and duchess. “If anything from the weekend leaked, I imagine they will be totally cut off and that’ll be it.
It’s very dangerous ground if they betray anyone now. But if they act appropriately and prove they can be trusted, it could be a huge step in the right direction and the start of a new beginning.”
Royal Family News – Royals Attend Opening for Royal Ascott, Queen Missing
In other Royal family News, according to People, the Royal Family is back to the races with the first day of Royal Ascott kicking off today. Notably, while Queen Elizabeth was missing from the event, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall will be leading the Royal processional around the track.
