Royal experts are beginning to fear the very real possibility of “enormous damage” that the Royal Family is finding itself in. Royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, initially brought this news to light telling Express News on Sunday, February 6, “Prince Charles and Prince William are aware of the enormous damage that links with Prince Andrew do to the monarchy.”
The Fitzwilliams also mentioned that Princes William and Charles would both be “extremely concerned” should Prince Andrew’s case go before a jury. These concerns come after Prince Andrew made the heretofore unheard-of decision to become the first member of the Royal Family to face a jury of his peers in a court of law.
Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Set to Stand Trial Before Jury
As Royals fans know the Queen publicly withdrew her support for Andrew, stripping him of his “honorary military links and patronages” in January. According to Fitzwilliams, all senior members of the royal family are likely to be “extremely concerned” about Andrew being cross-examined in front of a jury.
The Queen, who is soon to turn 96, stripped the prince of his honorary military roles as well as his HRH designation last month. The move must have been a humiliating experience for Andrew and follows a major blow in the Duke of York’s case as a judge denied his motion to dismiss the case against him and sent it to trial.

Virginia Roberts Guiffre is suing the Duke of York in a New York City civil court. Guiffre alleges that she was trafficked, three times, by deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein, and now-convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, and forced to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was just 17 years old – a minor under US law.
The 61-year-old Prince Andrew is alleged to have abused Guiffre on three separate occasions, once at Epstein’s private island, Little St James, and two more times at the financier’s private mansion in Manhattan.
