Royal news and updates tease that Princess Beatrice is back on Twitter. The British royal returned from her year-long hiatus and tweeted about Mike Tindall.
Princess Beatrice was absent from the social media platform for more than a year. She made her last tweet about the birth of Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, her daughter, in October 2121.
But on Saturday, she broke her silence when her favorite star on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! was eliminated. The British royal was rooting for the former Team England rugby player, Mike Tindall. Even though he’s been booted out of the reality TV show, Princess Beatrice still supports him.
“He is just the greatest @miketindall13,” she tweeted.
Princess Beatrice is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. Although they’re not blood-related, the 34-year-old royal is related to him in a way because she’s the cousin of the rugby star’s wife, Zara Tindall.
Mike Tindall Returns Home After Getting Eliminated
Mike Tindall was away from his wife when he joined the show. After getting eliminated, Mike returned home and reunited with his wife. He shared a photo of them together at a hotel café.
He captioned his post, “Reunited!!! ❤️, Back to normality and time to eat!!! Thanks for all the kind messages! It was a blast! #imaceleb #familytime.”
Princess Beatrice’s Mom Won’t Spend Christmas With Royals
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, made the headlines once again when reports circulated that she was set to join the royals for Christmas. There were speculations that she would join King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, and the rest of the royals when they celebrated the festive season at Norfolk estate.
Last year, the late Queen Elizabeth invited Sarah to join the family during Christmas. But this year, there’s been no official confirmation that she has been invited. Aside from Princess Beatrice, Sarah is also Princess Eugenie’s mother. She was married to Prince Andrew in 1986, but they separated in 1992. The former couple finalized their divorce four years after.
Although separated, Sarah and Princess Andrew have a good relationship. They even see each other whenever they get together with their kids during family occasions. Last year, she published an emotional letter for her daughters in Good Housekeeping, where she shared her joy at being a mother and grandmother.
