Princess Catherine Secretly Unveils New Instagram Account For Her Early Years Campaign
The Princess of Wales is going full-scale with the launch of her Early Childhood campaign, and she is determined to educate the world on the importance of a child’s first five years.
Catherine’s Early Childhood Foundation was launched over a year ago to usher in a new generation of practice, which will help raise children that will grow up with fewer mental health challenges. This can lead to a decrease in homelessness, addiction and family and social issues.
The Princess Of Wales Opens A New Instagram Account To Champion A Cause Close To Her Heart
On Tuesday, January 31, the Princess of Wales, 41, launched a new Instagram account on behalf of her Early Years Campaign, which she kicked off in full speed earlier this month.
The foundation was created as a part of her and her husband’s Royal Foundation in June 2021. Since then, the Princess has met with professionals and carried out research to support her work on that field.
In a new video shared on the page, Catherine spoke about the vital importance of a child’s early years.
“Our early childhood, the time from pregnancy to the age of five, fundamentally shapes the rest of our lives,” she said. “But as a society, we currently spend much more of our time and energy on later life.
Princess Catherine Launched The Shaping Us Campaign On Monday
Today, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood is launching a new campaign, Shaping Us, to raise awareness of the life-changing impact we can have when we build a supportive, nurturing world around children and those who care for them.” She added, “Because by focusing our collective time, energy and resources on these most preventative years, we can make a huge difference to the physical and mental health and happiness of generations to come.”
To garner more support and recognition for the cause, the Princess launched the Shaping Us campaign on Monday. The program is meant to bring public and scientific interest to these very crucial years of human development.
Prior to the campaign kicking off, Catherine held a meeting with eight experts at Windsor Castle to discuss what needs to be done to raise healthy and mentally agile children.
