Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden was radiant in red this week as she paid a visit to the prestigious EAT Stockholm Food Forum. The always beautiful and beaming Victoria arrived at the event fresh from a working trip to New York.
For the forum Sweden’s stylish princess wore her brunette tresses pulled back in a sophisticated bun, showcasing a pair of sparkling stud earrings. Victoria chose a satiny, ruby red dress splashed with a bright, all-over bright blue design for the daytime event.
Always the perfect picture of poise and polish, Victoria accessorized her adorable dress to the max with a flirty blue neck ribbon and a wide patent leather belt.
The 39-year old royal further coordinated her chic look with a navy blue handbag and spiky cobalt pumps.
EAT’s fourth annual event was held at the Clarion Hotel Sign, a world-class spa hotel located in the center point of the glamourous city. According to the organization’s website, among the topics presented at the forum were biotechnology and the economics of food systems.
Among the prominent guest speakers were Sir Bob Geldof and Caleb Harper from MIT Media Lab.
During her New York visit, Victoria appeared at an assembly that was a part of the Ocean Conference, held at the United Nations building. The meeting addressed the problem of plastic waste in marine and coastal environments, with the goal of reducing plastic pollutants in the world’s waterways.
The busy mother-of-two is first in line to the Swedish throne and her upcoming 40th birthday will be a national celebration, with numerous high-profile events and soirees planned to mark the occasion.
The future Queen of Sweden will celebrate her milestone birthday on July 14th. The momentous occasion will be celebrated in high style, beginning with a Thanksgiving service in the Royal Chapel. Following the service, a reception afterward will host honored guests invited to socialize with the royal family; an ornate carriage procession will follow. Later in the evening, the Princess and her family will be honored with a concert at Borgholms IP.
In 2010 Victoria wed personal trainer Daniel Westling and the pair share two adorable children, 5-year old Princess Estelle and 15-month old Prince Oscar.
Victoria is the daughter of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, and she has two sisters, Princess Sofia and Princess Madeleine. The royal family recently celebrated National Day on June 6.
