Harry and Meghan Are Looking Into Having A Second Base, Source Reveals
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking forward to having another home outside of the US, but it won’t be in the UK.
According to reports, King Charles booted Harry and Meghan from their UK home, Frogmore Cottage, a day after Harry dropped his controversial memoir “Spare”. Earlier this month when the news emerged, the Sussex couple revealed that they’re “ok” with the decision, even though they reportedly turned down Charles’ offer of an apartment in Buckingham Palace.
However, an inside source says that there’s a lot of drama taking place behind-the-scenes, even though they’re not being made public this time. “The situation is rapidly becoming uncomfortable to the point of untenable,” the source told Heat (via the Mirror).
“There are talks of keeping base in L.A. and heading somewhere new like Canada, South Africa or one of the other countries where they have more popularity and public sympathy. There’s money to be made abroad and it fits their vision of global success.”
The source further revealed that Harry has got a vision of his next dream home: “Harry loved the idea of living in a natural and eco-friendly environment—he’s pushing hard to go down the private island route.”
At the moment, no one knows whether it’s true, but it is possible that the couple would be searching for a second home to call their own after they lost Frogmore Cottage. There’s rumors they could head to New York to switch out their Hollywood dreams for a political one, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
