Queen Camilla's Son Hits Back At Prince Harry

No one wants to hear another grown-ass man refer to their mom as a “wicked stepmom.” It may have taken him a while to stand up to Harry’s claims about his mother, but Tom has finally found his voice. While Harry thinks that Camilla was playing the “long game” to get at the throne, Tom Parker Bowles believes it’s love.

Also, can someone remind Harry that Camilla had King Charles first and could have married him first. In case he forgot? He seems to forget everything that doesn’t fit his narrative.

Tom Parker Bowles Denies Harry’s Claim His Mom Made A Play For the Throne

In his memoir “Spare,” Harry described how he and brother Prince William begged his father not to marry Camilla, even saying he was afraid she’d turn out to be one of those wicked stepmoms. “He didn’t answer,” he recalled of his father’s response to his pleadings. “But she answered. Straight away. Shortly after our private summits with her, she began to play the long game. A campaign aimed at marriage, and eventually the crown, with Pa’s blessing we presumed.”

In 2005, Charles and Camilla would go on to get married, and they’ve supported each other through the storms that followed.
Speaking on The News Agents podcast, Tom Parker Bowles said: “I think change happens but I don’t care what anyone says – this wasn’t any sort of end game. She married the person she loved and this is what happened.” Even though he defended his mother against her troubled stepson, he did support the rights of the people calling for the monarchy to end.
