Royal Family News: Royal Chefs Must Have a Handle on Tact, Courtesy, and Discretion
The royal website advertisement also emphasized that applicants be “tactful and courteous, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.” According to the Prince of Wales himself, he doesn’t eat meat or fish two days out of the week, and he skips dairy once a week.
The heir apparent told the BBC in 2021 “the business of what we eat is, of course, important,” he explained, adding that for years, he hasn’t eaten meat or fish two days a week, “and I don’t eat dairy products on one day a week.” He added that if everyone would do likewise, it would reduce pressure on the environment.
“Because you see the thing about meat is very important – where does it come from, how is it grown? So, if it’s grass-based and from the right breeds, you know if it is better quality but eaten less often – that approach to farming is less damaging than the industrialized approach with intensive everything and causing huge pressures and damage.”

According to Cornwall Live, Royal author Sally Bedell Smith said the prince’s breakfast consists of specially mixed wheat germ and cereal grains with honey followed by fruit and tea. Be sure and stay apprised of all things royal and return here often for more spoilers, news, and updates.
