Royal Family News – Expert ‘Personally Surprised’ Harry and Meghan Didn’t Appear on Balcony

The Platinum Jubilee celebrations which began with Trooping the Colour parade on June 2, “went off without a hitch” Anderson told Us Weekly Tuesday. He added that the weekend was “a glorious celebration of the queen as a person and of the monarchy.”

“They went there hoping to mend fences and ran into a brick wall,” the Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan author said, adding that he “was personally surprised” that the Sussexes didn’t make an appearance on the balcony for the Trooping the Colour parade.

Royal Family News – Harry and Meghan Get ‘Sidelined’

Any attempt the duke and duchess made to “mend fences” with others in the Royal Family was entirely unsuccessful. Harry and Meghan have reportedly not attended an official Royal event since stepping down as working royals in March of 2020.

Anderson indicated that the 37-year-old helicopter pilot and Meghan Markle, 40, were “sidelined” by palace officials during the 96-year-old Queen’s birthday parade. Instead of taking their customary place beside the Queen for her birthday parade, the Sussexes watch the parade from the Major General’s Office.

Royal Family News – Harry ‘Very Upset’ He Was ‘Largely Ignored’

According to the New York Post, Royal expert Angela Levin claims Prince Harry is “furious” at being snubbed by Queen Elizabeth II. Levin, who spent a year with the prince while penning his biography, told The Sun, “I think he would have been very, very upset that he was largely ignored,” adding that “he still feels he’s owed an apology.”

Referring to Harry’s appearance at Friday’s Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral the Royal expert said, “The thing that really stood out for me on that day was Harry’s anger — he wears his emotions on his face, and he looked absolutely furious.” Be sure and stay up to date on all Royal Family News and return here often for more news and updates.
