Royal Family News – Full List of Royals Expected at Royal Retreat
The estranged Royal couple has been left off the Balmoral Castle getaway guest list despite the fact that staff had been alerted to expect a full list of Royals, reports Page Six. This news comes after The Sun recently reported that Queen Elizabeth II’s estate in Scotland had been informed to expect a full list of royals.
This was reported to include “Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet.” Her Majesty will be spending August and September at the highland retreat joined by family including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three youngsters Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.
Royal Family News – Snub Comes After Queen Invited Sussexes to Balmoral Estate
This particular snub comes ahead of the release of Harry’s controversial memoir which the prince assured would be “accurate and wholly truthful.” Just three days ago, The Sun reported that the Monarch has invited the Sussexes to the getaway but now, it appears things have changed.
According to PEOPLE, the Queen was spotted leaving Windsor Castle for her Scottish Highland getaway where she travels annually during the late summer. As the castle will still be open to the public until August 2, it’s expected that Her Majesty will spend the next couple of weeks elsewhere on the estate.
Royal Family News – Palace Mum of Snub
Balmoral Estate has served as a private estate for the Royal family for the last 150 years. During August and September, it’s expected that many Royal Family members will pop in to visit with the Queen at the Castle, including the Queen’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
During the Royal vacation, the family will entertain guests, hold dances and picnics, as well as shooting parties at the 7,000-acre estate.
