Royal Family News – Prince Harry and Prince William Will be Uncomfortable with The Crown Season 5

Royal Family news reveals that Prince Harry and Prince William will both be “quite uncomfortable” with season 5 of the popular Netflix series, “The Crown,” says one royal expert. Read on and we’ll give you the low down.

Royal Family News: Princess Diana’s Death Covered in Season 5

Royal Family news reveals that, according to Cosmopolitan Magazine, the two princes may fidget uncomfortably in their chairs while watching the fifth season of “The Crown.” At least that’s how royal expert Katie Nicholl is predicting it to play out.

To be precise, Nicholl foresees both Will and Harry struggling with some of the scenes about their late mother, Princess Diana, that will be front and center in Season 5 of the series.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nicholl said, “I think this series is going to be quite uncomfortable viewing, not just for [Queen Consort] Camilla and [King] Charles but also for William and Harry,” adding that, “scenes leading up to their mother’s death are going to be very, very uncomfortable for them.”

A Traumatic Event for Prince Harry and Prince William

Everything that Nicholl is claiming would be perfectly understandable. As Cosmo puts it, it will also be just as understandable if either the Prince of Wales or the Duke of Sussex decided to skip watching the last two seasons of the show which will center on, among other things, their mother’s death that fateful day in 1997.

It wouldn’t be difficult to understand as both brothers have spoken publicly about how the experience impacted their mental and emotional health. Nicholl went on to explain that “this is a period that they had to live out so publicly.

Can Princess Diana’s Ghost Rest?

“We heard Harry talk about the very real impact it’s had on his life, and William as well. So, for this to sort of be revisited, even if it’s done tastefully … for this to be brought up all over again is incredibly hard for William and Harry.”

She added, “[There is] a sense that, really, their mother’s ghost can’t ever be laid to rest for them. I think [that] is really still something that’s very real and very difficult for them. (via InTouch)”

Season 5 will Hit Uncomfortably Close

Even though Nicholl, who is Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent and a cohost of the podcast DYNASTY, thinks that the fifth and sixth seasons of The Crown will hit “uncomfortably close” to the two royal brothers, as well as the rest of the Royal Family, she also said that with all the hype and attention the media is giving the series, it wouldn’t surprise her at all if this is the top-rated season for the series.
