Royal Family News – Prince Harry’s Memoir Focuses on Princess Diana’s Death
Royal Family news reveals that Prince Harry “intensely focused” on his mother, Princess Diana’s death when writing his memoir. Read on and we’ll fill you in on the details.
Royal Family News: Will Conspiracy Factor into Memoir?
Royal Family news reveals that, according to Daily Beast, the Duke of Sussex is reportedly “intensely focused” on the moments leading up to his mother’s death. Apparently, the prince is researching the final moments of Princess Diana’s life for his upcoming memoir.
The Sun reports that “official judicial sources in Paris” are revealing that the duke’s researchers are seeking information about the Pont d’Alma, Paris car crash that ended Princess Diana’s life on August 31, 1997. One source who was reportedly involved in the original investigation, said, “There have been approaches which suggest Prince Harry is intensely focused on getting more information about his mother’s death.
“There are plenty of people in France who recall the night of the accident. It’s only normal that Diana’s son should want to learn more about it for his book.” The Sun reportedly reached out to the duke for comment.
Conflicting Theories
As we approach the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death, the moments leading up to her demise are rising again to the surface, along with the inevitable and conflicting conspiracy theories about what caused it.
Folks want to know, did it go down as the official verdict has it; a combination of relentless paparazzi pursuit and an inept chauffeur or is there, instead, merit to the various conspiracy theories that followed?
Jury Decided
Princess Diana was 36 years old when the car she rode in hit an underpass pillar in Paris on that fateful day. The crash also took the life of Dodi Fayed, Diana’s partner, and Henri Paul, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz W140 S-Class, reports Express UK.
There was a six-month-long investigation into the accident in 2007 that came to the conclusion that the accident was caused by an intoxicated Paul losing control of the vehicle at high speed. It was also determined, by a jury, that the aggressive driving of the paparazzi to the rear of the vehicle along with the fact that none of the occupants were wearing safety belts influenced the outcome of the crash.
Who Will Prince Harry Blame?
Prince Harry was just 12 years old when he lost his mother and blamed the tragedy for mental health problems that he tried to resolve through drink and drug. The memoir, which is reportedly being written by author J R Moehringer, is not expected to disparage the Queen.
However, it is expected that Charles and William will figure into Harry and Meghan stepping down as working royals in 2020. Be sure and stay up to date on all Royal Family news and return here often for more news and updates.
