Royal Family News: Prince Harry’s Memoir Release Could Be Delayed for Jubilee Info
The release date for Prince Harry’s memoirs could be delayed because he may want to include his visit to the UK Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
For some time now, Prince Harry’s memoir has been scheduled for release in late 2022. However, as we reach the middle of 2022, no release date has been mentioned by either the duke or his publisher Penguin Random House. Per Marie Claire, royal expert Roya Nikkhah thinks that has something to do with Harry’s return to the UK next month. Continue reading and we’ll fill you in on the details.
Royal Family News – Delayed Publication Could Allow Duke to Give Account of Jubilee
Royal expert Roya Nikkhah, writing for The Times and quoted in the Daily Express, explained that a delayed publication date would “avoid overshadowing” the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. But, she said, it could also give the prince a chance to include the Jubilee in his highly anticipated and feared memoir.
According to Nikkhah, the delay would “provide Harry an opportunity to give his account of attending next month’s celebrations with Meghan and their children, the first time the Sussexes will have been reunited with the royal family for more than two years.”
Royal Family News – Harry’s Claims Memoir Will be ‘Accurate and Wholly Truthful’
Details of Prince Harry’s Jubilee visit, which reportedly won’t be picked up by Netflix, would seemingly make a great epilogue for his memoir. The book was announced last year as an “intimate and heartfelt memoir” which the Duke of Sussex calls an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his “experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons.”
Of the memoir, Prince Harry has written, “I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learnt—I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”
He continued, adding that he was “deeply grateful” to share what he had learned throughout his life and that he was excited to share an account of his life he called, “accurate and wholly truthful.”
Royal Family News – Royals ‘Very Wary’ Over Memoirs Ahead of Jubilee
As we have reported frequently, there is a good deal of trepidation surrounding the release of Prince Harry’s memoirs and what it could mean for the rest of the Royal Family. Royal author Ian Lloyd told the Express that the Royal Family would be “very wary” about the release of the book approaching the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
