The Queen is 96 years old: seeing her out and about, and, at the same time, walking unaided, is enough reason for anyone to lose it. But considering that there’s an added motive for the excitement – er… the Queen has recurring mobility issues – one can actually understand the excitement.
Royal Fans Say the Queen Looks Happy and Relaxed in Latest Outing
The Queen was visibly glowing and was all smiles as she stepped out for the first time since her Platinum Jubilee celebrations ended. At the time, it was understood that the Queen would be pacing her schedule as she obviously pushed herself too far with her various appearances, especially during the opening day of the iconic four-day weekend.
We know the Queen will not be with us forever, but we’re living for it for as long as she does.
The Queen traveled to Scotland earlier this week in order to mark her Platinum Jubilee and the 200th anniversary of King George’s visit to Scotland, which happened in 1822. Commenting on the visit and the Queen’s lively appearance, a fan wrote: “What is the Queen’s secret? I am half her age and I think I have more wrinkles!!!”.
A fan also tweeted, “Wonderful to see the Queen looking so well”, while another added, “Our wonderful Queen looking radiant”.
Another fan said that the fresh air of Scotland must have worked wonders in restoring the Queen, while many others hoped she would enjoy her break in Scotland.

As much as fans were excited to see the Queen looking so happy during her latest outing, her purple dress also got some admiration, with one fan sharing, “We have confirmation on HMTQs new outfit. The silk wool dress and coat the color of Scottish purple heather and the beautiful hat are made by none other than Angela Kelly 💜🏴💜🏴💜”.
Speaking on the jewelry worn by the elderly royal, Court Jeweller tweeted: “The Queen wore one of her lovely diamond thistle brooches for a pair of engagements in Edinburgh on Tuesday.”
