Can you imagine the excitement that sighting Mike Tindall meekly flying economy by one unsuspecting fan has caused? Apart from his royal associations, Tindall is famous in his own right, being a sportsman in his youth and now running a rugby podcast following his retirement.
Last year, he almost made it to the final round of “I’m A Celeb” – an experience he thoroughly enjoyed, even though he didn’t get to be crowned King of the Jungle and win that hefty cash price.
After what must have been a hectic time for the family as they planned what is the first coronation in 70 years, everyone’s ready to go on a vacation and relax. The King himself took a vacation, why not Tindall?
On the plane, two excited passengers giggled when they saw the royal, who was wearing a white baseball cap and a navy T-shirt with the word “freedom” on the front, stuffing his jacket into an overhead locker.
The fan who shared the footage on TikTok wrote: “It is Mike Tindall. Oh my God it actually is him.”
The user then jokingly added that since the King’s coronation is over, royal fans can come party with Tindall at the infamous Ibiza club Glitterbox.
While he stayed in Ibiza, Tindall, 44, recorded an episode of his podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, with co-hosts James Haskell and Alex Payne. The episode, which saw them broach the subject of meeting global stars Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, was released on May 19.
They occasionally share pics and clips with fans, as they enjoy the sun at a rooftop bar at the ME hotel in Santa Eulalia.
