The £19k A Night House Where Prince William and Kate Middleton Stayed In Bahamas
Prince William and Kate Middleton concluded their highly scrutinized eight-day Caribbean Tour with a stay at a luxury Bahamas penthouse.
Prince William and Kate Middleton Spent Their Last Two Caribbean Tour Nights at The Cove
Their Royal Highnesses checked into The Cove at the Atlantis Bahamas Resort as their tour was nearing its end last week.
The couple slept in the hotel’s penthouse — a 4,380 square foot suite that comes with the hefty price tag of £19,000 a night.
The three-bedroom suite leads into a round foyer that features a huge domed ceiling and glass chandelier.
The suite can sleep up to eight people, with a clear view of the ocean, an executive office, a ten-seat dining area, walk-in closets and a dedicated butler.
The bathrooms floors are made of fine polished marble, with a free standing bathtub next to a window that allows anyone in the bathtub to admire the white sand beaches and the ocean.
Per the Atlantis website, the suite is reserved for only “the most selective” guests.
The website says: “Reserved for only the most selective and luxury-seeking guests, The Cove’s awe-inspiring penthouse suites occupy a single-story enclave overlooking the Caribbean waters beyond.”
The royal couple reportedly loved their two-night stay
The royal couple reportedly loved their two-night stay so much that they contemplated coming back with their children to enjoy the scenes and luxurious facilities and services.
According to a report published by Hello! magazine, the Duchess of Cambridge told fellow guests: “We were tempted by the beaches. Amazing scenery. Next time we have to come back with the children.”
Although the duo were too busy to enjoy all that the resort has to refer, guests have access to 11 swimming pools, including multi-level adult-only pools, 21 restaurants, 20 private cabanas, 19 bars and lounges and a water park.
The Caribbean tour, which was carried out in honor of the Platinum Jubilee, also saw Kate and William visit Belize and Jamaica.
The tour was packed with memorable moments, including the time the pair swam with the sharks, climbed aboard the same Land Rover used by the Queen and Prince Philip, and danced and played drums.
