This Royal Promises To Follow In Meghan Markle’s Footsteps In Spilling the Tea
Since Meghan Markle left royal life and moved stateside with her family, it seemed as if she was following Sarah Ferguson’s guide to quitting royal life and transitioning to the life of a celebrity. Meghan got the book part and Oprah interview down real quick, but perhaps she has gone a step further than the Duchess of York, who, unsurprisingly, intends to follow.
Sarah Ferguson Announces New Podcast “Sarah and the Duchess”
It’s not everyday that a member of the Royal Family gets a podcast and promises to spill some royal tea. Mike Tindall does it occasionally in his The Good, the Bad, and the Rugby podcast, but most of the time, he’s talking about rugby – a sport he used to play back in the day.
Then there’s Meghan Markle’s “Archetypes,” a 10-episode podcast about the demeaning terms society uses to describe women, but with the occasional gist about the royals.
Not to be outdone, Sarah Ferguson revealed that she is launching a podcast with the help of leading viral podcast producers and experts Viral Tribe. She will be co-hosting the podcast beside the founder of First News, Sarah Jane Thomson. The podcast will see the pair chat “about the highs and lows of everyday life.”
What Will the Duchess of York’s Podcast Be About?
The podcast’s description reads that Sarah Ferguson and Sarah Jane Thompson will “learn about themselves, each other and give their take on some of the biggest and strangest stories from around the world. No topic is off the table. No biscuit will remain undunked.”
Sharing the exciting news on Twitter, the Duchess wrote: “It’s about time we spilled the tea… our brand new podcast “Tea Talks with the Duchess & Sarah” is out next week.”
The news is coming after Sarah did not make the list of people invited to King Charles’ coronation. She did, however, enjoy the epic Coronation Concert, which took place a day later, as one of the thousands of attendees.
