Will Princess Charlene Attend Monaco’s National Day?
Now that Princess Charlene has arrived 11 days prior to Monaco’s National Day, will she be participating in the day’s festivities? The Grimaldis usually celebrate the festivities from the balcony.
However, Charlene will not be attending. Here is the reason that she will not make an appearance.
Also, what is the Princely Palace’s full statement?
Princess Charlene Will Not Be Attending Monaco’s National Day
Princess Charlene will not be participating in Monaco’s National Day on Friday, November 19. According to the Princely Palace, “Their Serene Highnesses have both decided that a period of calm and rest is necessary to ensure the very best recovery for Princess Charlene’s health. “
According to Hola!, the statement included more details about this situation. Not only is she unwell, but she needs a lot of time. Moreover, it doesn’t sound like she is convalescing at home, but somewhere else.
“Having battled with poor health over the past few months, the Princess is currently convalescing and will continue to do so for the coming weeks, allowing Her time to recover from a state of profound general fatigue. In order to protect the comfort and privacy essential to Her recovery, the Princess’ location will remain strictly confidential.”
Where Is Princess Charlene Recovering From Her Illness?
Now, the big question is where is Princess Charlene? According to an interview that Prince Albert gave to Monaco-Matin, his 43-year-old spouse is recovering somewhere “secret.” Moreover, she is recovering away from both her husband and her twin children.
Although Albert could not reveal more “out of discretion,” he did advise that she was physically away from the family. “She is not in the Principality but we will be able to visit her very soon.”
As for her illness, it is more than a physical problem. “There is tiredness, not just physical, which can only be treated with a period of rest and monitoring.”
Although the Prince is surely relieved to have his wife back from South Africa after being absent for over six months, he has other issues to contend with. He is focused on their young twins.
Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella Suffering From Mother’s Absence
As a father, Prince Albert has seen his children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella endure difficulties, as he admitted that they had “suffered from the absence of their mother.”
However, Prince Albert shared that although he is both a Prince and a father, he is adjusting more to the role of father. This must certainly be a trying time for their young children.
Their mother flew to South Africa back in May, to work on her charitable foundation. Princess Charlene was grounded due to a serious ears/nose/throat infection that required more than one procedure.
Albert and the twins did visit Charleen in South Africa in August. However, it was not until November 8 that she returned home to Monaco.
